The Athletic Union Freshers’ Bazaar
At the start of each year, the Athletic Union clubs host a weekend-long publicity event for prospective new members, and if you’re interested in joining our club we thoroughly recommend you come along and meet with us there. 

This year’s event will be held on the 3rd and 4th October, in the Sir David Wallace Sports Hall (map ref. 78).  Our club will have a stall and several of our members will be there to help with any questions you may have, and can help you sign up if you want to.  We will also be putting on a short display on both days, demonstrating a number of basic and advanced Hung Kuen forms, including animal styles and weapons forms, as well as some of our training techniques.

 
Taster Sessions
In addition to visiting us at the Bazaar, we recommend new members come along to a taster session before joining.  These sessions will give you a better idea about how our club trains, and whether or not our methods are suited to you and match your expectations.

If you cannot make it along to the Bazaar or to any of our training sessions in the first few weeks of term, you are still welcome to attend training to try it out before signing up.  The first taster sessions will be held during week 2 of term – Monday 5th, Wednesday 7th, and Sunday 11th October.
