The cost this year is £18 for a 3 course meal and an evening’s entertainment including the Kung Fu Awards 2011 and karaoke! Food orders can be made directly via Pete Woodward or by sending it to the club email. Copies of the menu are on facebook and were emailed out to the club mailing list last week!

If you’ve already made your order, you need to pay Pete ASAP! If you haven’t made your order and are still debating whether to come (silly question, of course you do!) you now have until Saturday to decide! Huzzah!

For this we are going on a mini pub crawl starting at JC’s at 7.30pm then moving onto the Griffin, followed by the Gallery. Finally we will head to Revs where we have queue jump, free champagne and a booth just for us to chill in. Plenty of fun to be had whether you’re drinking or not

Just a quick heads up, training times and venues for the Autumn term should be available shortly. Whilst the TKD centre is being moved, training venues will be slightly different, but hopefully this should be resolved after Christmas.

I am aware that it has arrived very late in the term and that some people might not be able to collect it until after easter.
For those of you still in Loughborough, the social kit will be brought to training on Friday(1st April) for you to collect between 5-8pm.
If you want someone else to collect it for you please send me an email (kenny.890@hotmail.com), or otherwise let me or Alan know who will be collecting it.
I will be around Loughborough all easter if you wish to arrange a collection at a later point, otherwise it’ll be here when you get back.

To help you decide which clubs to join there will be a Freshers’ Bazaar on Sat 9^th and Sun 10^th October, in the Sir David Wallace Sports Hall (map ref. 78). Every sports club will be there and with live demonstrations throughout the day and the possibility of free pizza, it’ll be a great weekend! Come along any time from 10am to 4pm on both days. Shaolin Kung Fu will be there, come and say hey, get a free cupcake and we’ll get you up to date with what we’ll be getting up to over the next year. You can also come along to our free taster sessions if you want to get a feel for our training before signing up:

The Monday and Wednesday sessions will be held in the Taekwondo Centre (map ref. 76). The Sunday session will be held in the Quorn Lecture Theatre in EHB (map ref. 53)

Hung Kuen Shaolin Kung Fu is a traditional style of Chinese martial arts with roots that trace back to the Shaolin temple in China. Our principle instructor is Master Ang Kee Kong, 10th Degree, who sits at the head of the Hung Kuen schools in the UK. Our training involves a mixture of traditional techniques, modern self defence and fitness. Through this you’ll be able to improve your health, as well as, confidence in yourself and your abilities.
